WHAT TO DO TO PREVENT AN INJURY: PREVENTION AND RECOVERY?

An injury is one of the greatest fears of an athlete. And, at the same time, one of the most serious problems found within a professional's career. For this reason injury prevention should be an obligation in the day to day of an athlete. Objective: avoid injuries.

Even so, once an injury has occurred, the right decisions must be taken from the first stage. Otherwise, it could delay recovery, leave chronic problems or even force the athlete to leave the sport. For this reason it is essential to define the method of work from the start to indicate both the athlete and those responsible for its recovery when to return to training.

Steps we follow since the injury occurs until the return to sports practice:

Phase 1: ASSESSMENT
Phase 2: EXECUTION
Phase 3: CONTROL

This is not a single and isolated process. It must be repeated over time so that at all times we have objective control. And so we will know exactly what each athlete needs to be in an optimal state of shape and prevent possible injuries.
